For Your Safety

Greetings Reader–

I pray you are safe and hopeful.

Let me keep it a stack with you. Black people globally are facing the biggest existential threat of our generation. We have to get serious about unifying and protecting ourselves if we’re going to come out on the other side. Bookmark this newsletter for easy access to the resources below.

Before I get into it, I want to thank you for being part of what made 2025 an impactful year for us.

Shoutout to all who participated in NOIR FEST and/or helped make it happen. We are grateful for the magical moments we enabled together, and the impact we facilitated. Read more and see photos here.

We’ll be sharing more about the impact of NOIR FEST and 2026 plans in the coming weeks.

For Your Safety

Now, for your safety. If you have no idea why I'm talking about existential threats, follow David Hundeyin and/or watch some of my recent videos. If you're on IG, get updates in our stories.

Rather than worrying, I urge you to get deeply aligned.

True safety is experienced first in the heart, mind, nervous system. From there, it is experienced in the material realm. I share on metaphysical tools for material safety here. More to come soon on that.

When sh-t goes down, the most important thing is being able to reach your people, until or unless you are co-located. If you've paid attention to revolutions around the world, then you know not to take your internet access–or your social media access–for granted.

Recommendations

  1. Explore alternative communication methods. If you can, GET A LAND LINE. Download other alternative communications tools like Signal
  2. Get on SPILL. I have found SPILL to be the safest, most communal, most loving space for Black intelligence and Black beauty. And folks are sharing valuable, critical resources there, like this one.
  3. Get a VPN. Express VPN, SurfShark and Proton all have free trials or money-back guarantees. Pick one to download to your phone/computer.
  4. You may also want to explore alternative mobile devices. Here are some options.

Got some great resources to share with the community? Drop them in the Portal X groupchat, especially if they're about Labor Strikes.

Escaping the empire requires independent economies. This is why we built Portal X to facilitate exchange based on gifts, talent & knowledge. In addition to finding and listing events and opportunities, the Liberation Algorithm now allows you to begin calculating the value of your superpowers.

The Divine downloads that have built this ecosystem over the years were preparing us for such a time as this. Make the most of them.

Questions? Thoughts? Feel free to reply or send a voice note in the Parlour.

xo,

Olori Lolade
